f**kin saweet…finally got the rain i needed to get some sh*t done…packed in some berms on the start ‘track’ and got all the take offs sorted…can concentrate on the last jumps in the line now….made a start on the hip landing today the take off looks waffer but once its sorted it’ll send ya to the moon. bit of a pointless post but its my first so get it darn ya! cheers, frag

Is anyone else still digging? Rode the first two of the new line on friday finally, so we know it works, just need some more rain to finsh everything off – or some more people to help! Anyway, couple more pics, put a foot on the 4th hip to the right in the main line, and finished the step-up landing, which you get to from going left on the 4th, its the easy stunt-exit if you don’t wanna ride the rest of the line!

Well I’ve been helping down BLT for one reason or another. Its a private spot, with water and digger so its pretty sweet even if they stoney dirt aint. Here’s a quick run through of the newly named Smith line. The end isnt finished but its getting there along with quite a few other lines.

If you don’t know much about Villij, here’s a glimpse into why people are so gutted that the place has been plowed. Although they could be coming to some sort of agreement so fingers crossed for them

Finally got the rain we’ve been moaning about so got some shit done at the woods with Rog today. We’ve been putting in the shovel-time after work this last week too & its finally beginning to take shape down there. The place got a minor trashing on thursday (chav’s just kicking in the new lips, but didn’t take long to fix). Then it rained all day friday so things were finally wet enough to get stuff done today. In the 1st pic, the new line to the left is pretty much good to go now & the old line on the right just needs refreshing really. The other pics are of the 2nd landing of the new line. The last couple are of the 3rd in the old line which I had to back-up the take off & landing to give it a bit more height. The landing’s looking like a bit of a pyramid though & needs to be a bit thicker on top, but I was so fucked by the time I left I could only manage to pat it together & hope that it holds till tomorrow so I can go back down & whack it in properly.

Like a lot of the trails, ours were freakishly dry too early but we have had good some rain the last couple of days means we can shape stuff up and finish stuff of in time for Kung’s birthday party. With this recent rain the other thing  you can be sure of is all the fair weather ‘locals’ will disappear and the usual suspects will be claying up and squaring off this weekend!

Freddie Le Fox has been getting to know us, he comes out and says hello most days. Gets fed pretty well with tip bits off the BBQ’s. Rumour has it he has got a Wi-Fi connection hooked up and a Facebook profile?
