New Video from Tomas over at L.E.S. in the Czech Republic

Hello from the US Chicagoland area, this is our first post.. but there will be more to come!  I’ve been checkin out the site for a while and im real impressed.  Heres a little history on us.  We used to have a real strong scene here in the 90′s with 10-15 different trail spots within a 5 mile radius.  As people got older they moved to warmer places to dig, or quit riding. The younger generation of local riders grew up riding park, so trails kinda died, spots were abandoned or plowed.  Last year a few locals and I started digging, we now have 3 spots running strong and hope to continue re-building and expanding to new or old  spots. The ground is fronzen solid now with 10 inches of snow but as soon as the ground thaws out we’l be diggin.  Heres some pics from one of our spots, called Stony.

Heres two quick vids, I’d embed them but I don’t know how.  The first vid is from the right line, the second is the All- Weather line, with a roll in and lights for nightime, and lips made of concrete.

Been busy at the trails lately. Adding to the main line, started a new line and changed most of the big set. Still loads to do though.

Hello everyone from Sheep Hills in Huntington Beach CA. We have been putting in alot of work at the trails lately. The rain has been brutal so its gunna be a while before riding, so here are some pics of what we’ve been doing instead.

Well for me anyways. Had a few too many ales on Friday night which meant a fairly subdued and brief Saturday session was spent at the trails. Did buy a leaf rake though and made the pump track look fairly presentable. Hope the summer doesn’t roll around too soon, still loads to do

Just a quick post to say I’ve just posted out most of the remaining BuildTheWoods tshirts out to Banos Distro in France. They’re a rad company supporting the trailscene so if you’ve in their neck of the woods, go pick up a tee from them!

now then chaps. ive been browsing on here for a while, the gypo boys told me about the site. i finally got round to registering and want to share our dust humps with everyone.

we started building the trails around 5 years ago, we got the first 3 jumps built and had a bit of bother with some scruffy pill head walking through and they just got abandoned for some reason. anyway, 5 years on, the boys and myself wanted some where of our own to build, i remembered this spot and took a look down one day when i was passing, to my amazement the jumps were still there, just a bit weathered. since then the 4 of us have been grafting and got a lot done. the 4 diggers are myself, keable, ayton chris and adam.

the spot is pretty perfect to be honest, well away from everywhere, woods, natural hilly terrain and natural water source (stream)

I’m pretty stoked on how many people are happy with the site and are willing to get involved. We could always have more though so here’s a quick plea to anyone who would be up for contributing to the site.
