City Trails sesh, Norwich this Saturday 26th

{ City Trails }

Hi all, We’re having a bit of a sesh down our place this Saturday. The trails are yet to get a good seeing to this year so we thought we’d extend an invite out to the trails community! There should be some good numbers heading over from other local scenes.  Should be kicking off about 15:00 as theats twhen the sun stop shining directly in your eyes!
Address is:
Barrow Close
Sweet Briar Road Industrial Estate,
Norwich,
NR3 2AT

You can park up outside Amari Plastics ltd or on the road near by. Once you’ve parked up head towards the trees beside the building and you will see a small path on your right. Follow it through and the trails will become visible. Im too lazy to post any pics up, so check out some of our previous posts for what most of the sets look like.

Hope to see some new and old faces

City Trails 2010 Update

{ City Trails }

I don’t know about the rest of you, but the harsh frost and snow caused a fair bit of damage this winter to our mud humps!  With the trails being frozen it was impossible to doing anything meaningful around December and Jan so we have been on a mad rush the last month or so to get stuff ready.

Those of you who haven’t seen Dave King’s Derelict Summer 2009 DVD need to.  It’s hugely inspiring and will get you through the coldest darkest winter days!  We were really pleased to see that some footage from our trails had made the final cut, big thanks to Dave for that.

We have added 2 new sets so far which follow on from the step-up.  The plan is to hip these sets back into the main line with a final set that we are now in the process of starting.  Whether or not this gets finished depends of the weather. We have made some big improvements to the current sets and look set to have each line runnning a lot smoother this summer.  Here’s a few snaps of the 2 new sets which are on the right of the main line.

Last set done at last!

{ City Trails }

Well thats it for our digging effort until the winter.  Its been pretty tough getting the last 2 sets dialled in as they needed a big overhaul and the dirts been dry as fook, but we finished today after some graft over the last month from a fair few people.  Its running great, just needs a day or 2 to bake off in the sun.

Some rain at last!

{ City Trails }

Seems strange that last summer was such a wash out and that this summer has started early!  Thankfully some rain hit the lovely flatlands of Naaaarfolk this week and another jump is complete!  Looks like more rain on Sunday so one m0re jump to build and thats our main line done.

City Trails

{ City Trails }

Ok, so here is our first post for the ‘City Trails’.  Got a few pics from the last few months ranging in quality, bit of digging bit of riding.  Currently we have 3 Seperate lines running which all start from a small double then right hip which leads to:

Step up line (12ft bottom to top) with a low set then hip leading into it
Six pack/Trick line
Main line, Left Hip Right Hip, Stright set, left hip.

The main line has another 2 sets after but they need some TLC and the step up line will have a six pack following it which is under a rebuild. The trick set has a double burn line after it and the jury is still out on where its going but we have some cool ideas.
