A few pics of what went down today……

I said this to much today. Best day in the woods so far. Main line works a treat, Stan sent himself, bbq and i had my first real go today so things are looking good!!! Hurry up Elwood!!!

So the main lines almost done bar lipping up the last jump and just got 2 left on the new line.  Heres a couple of pics of leadin up to the last and the last of  main line and then the  not quite finished 4th of the new line bein tested when it was dry in the woods…

Well things were looking good on saturday got 2 new lips done but then heard fellow (and only other main) digger had broken his wrist. So we have a set of trails startin to run which neither of us can rid at the minute due to injury – should be a good summer… Anyway roped local nutter Stan in on Sunday and he sent a few more jumps to prove at least they work and we could be havin fun. If you know where we are and fancy a session let us know coz as Stan put it 1 man sessions aint the best!! Heres a couple of pics of Elwood pre-wrist and Stan getting in the flow.

Despite weekly kicking-in from chavvy kids, shit’s finally starting to come together at our place. Got the top section of the new line riding today, Stan jumped the 3rd which isn’t even finished! Dude’s nuts!

Is anyone else still digging? Rode the first two of the new line on friday finally, so we know it works, just need some more rain to finsh everything off – or some more people to help! Anyway, couple more pics, put a foot on the 4th hip to the right in the main line, and finished the step-up landing, which you get to from going left on the 4th, its the easy stunt-exit if you don’t wanna ride the rest of the line!

Finally got the rain we’ve been moaning about so got some shit done at the woods with Rog today. We’ve been putting in the shovel-time after work this last week too & its finally beginning to take shape down there. The place got a minor trashing on thursday (chav’s just kicking in the new lips, but didn’t take long to fix). Then it rained all day friday so things were finally wet enough to get stuff done today. In the 1st pic, the new line to the left is pretty much good to go now & the old line on the right just needs refreshing really. The other pics are of the 2nd landing of the new line. The last couple are of the 3rd in the old line which I had to back-up the take off & landing to give it a bit more height. The landing’s looking like a bit of a pyramid though & needs to be a bit thicker on top, but I was so fucked by the time I left I could only manage to pat it together & hope that it holds till tomorrow so I can go back down & whack it in properly.

Right, first post. Been a bit slack on the old photo taking. Here’s a couple of shots from various points in various lines at various stages of development. I can’t honestly be arsed to talk everyone through the lines, but basiccally, there’s only 2 of us that really dig consistently (Roger & myself) a few others come down & lend a hand once in a blue moon, but its pretty much just the two of us. Roger’s been out with a busted shoulder since about January, and had keyhole surgery on it about 7 weeks ago, so he hasn’t been able to dig for ages. But before he went under the knife, he went nuts for a week and piled up a whole new line by himself… Only problem is that we’ve been caught real short with the weather so it’s now too dry to dig & finish everything off to get it riding. If we just had a day of rain we’d be able to do enough to get shit running. Anyway, thats enough waffling, here’s some pics: (Shots 3 & 4 are the same angle, but shot 4 was taken this time last year. I’ll post some better ones when we get some rain).
