Forum?

{ BuildTheWoods }

Right since the site is now getting a lot of attention how do people feel about a forum and maybe a section of the site wich will have more of an insight into the trails.

Maybe a smallĀ  write up and some pics, some details of different lines, the locals etc. Nothing major but a small piece about each set of trails would be good to stop any confusion, would be a nice chance to show of your trails aswell.

With the forum how do people feel about doing trail exchanges, by this I mean you visit us we visit you, since trails are a lot less mainstream than other disiplines it would be nice to have a few contacts to arrange a good day out at other spots, for us at Burlish anyone is welcome and were quite happy to let people ride aslong as a good bit of respect is shown all is good.

If anyone agrees with this then leave us a comment and we will sort it out, we did plan on having a forum but we weren’t sure about how other sets of trails would take to it so if you think its a good idea then just get intouch.

    Yeah sounds like a plan, me and a few guys from sheffield have a set of trails we have been working on for a couple of years not enough people know about them, ill gladly stick some photos up when i i get round to taking some. would love to come visit you guys and like wise, pimp site , and a pimp idea too. It seems that these days the trails scene seems to be gettin more and more segmented and “invitation only”. Although i can understand some people have ownership issues that dictate this, there are many trail nazi’s out there that just piss me off! for me its against the whole ethos of trails. Its a breath of fresh air to hear people leaving open invitation about… anyway rant over.

    sounds like a good idea to me, we like it when riders from out of town come to our trails, being stuck out here on the coast we dont get to many riders passing through apart from jam day its pretty much just the locals who ride here as the majority of riders in the north are street jibbers.

    so yeah if your sound and show a bit of respect by taking your litter home and shit we will be happy for people to come ride.

    bring some food and will fire the BBQ up.

    Burlish has had a shitty rep for being miserable and that still stands but thats only because people havnt got the respect to even say hi sometimes and im sure all of you will agree its just not on.
    like i said anyone is welcome, just give us a shout and we can arrange a day when all 4 locals will be there and we can get our shred on, there is a good mix of lines now so that should cater for everyone.
    hopefully with the forum each set of trails around the country can become a bit more friendly with each other and open up a few sessions, no1 is asking you to give directions out tho so if you want to put more work into th trails dont feel like you have to let ppl there thats down to you, after all you built the place you have the final say.
